#louisville here I come!

I’m delighted to have a spot at the @louisvillebookfestival this weekend! Stop by for some freebies (while supplies last!) to be announced Friday or check out my presentation LOVE, LIBRARIES, AND THE FREEDOM TO READ at 11am to learn how my debut novel #adahollowayshadenough came to existence and is used as a way to begin empathetic conversations around censorship between parents, teens, educators, and librarians.

Live action shot of your next favorite author chatting all things #censorship and #adahollowayshadenough at @iatenow.

I always love finding myself in Chicago, especially surrounded by librarians, educators, and book lovers of all ages.

Just don’t ask me how my car is doing. It’s a sore subject.

September was a weird month of reading. Some 5 stars, some 1 stars. I’ll let you argue in the comments which is which 😉

How do I even describe how much last week meant to me?

For #bannedbooksweek I had the incredible opportunity to go to #indiebookstores across two states. Not only did we spread awareness about #bookbans and #censorship, but I also got to visit the amazing Page Turners book club and chat just what #adahollowayshadenough means to me and communities fighting to protect their libraries and #firstamendment rights across the country.

This is just a snapshot of all the fun I had meeting people (and cats!). Speaking of awesome indie bookstores, should I have a book haul to show all the great stuff I found? 🤔

When I wrote #adahollowayshadenough I just wanted to try to understand and express my own opinions on #censorship and #bookbans happening around the country. 6 months after launch, I’ve never been more proud of how this book can educate readers young and old on their #firstamendment rights and how to protect their #publiclibrary

So if you want a fun way to learn just why censorship is so concerning and anti-American, just ask Ada Holloway this #bannedbooksweek

Because, come on guys, #letbooksbe
